The Enterprise Building, Ayala Avenue, Makati City



The Enterprise Center dominates the Makati skyline, not because it is the tallest building, but because it rises majestically like a symbol of corporate Manila in the new millennium.
The Enterprise Center comprises two office towers and is located at the junction of Ayala Avenue and Paseo de Roxas in Makati City, Philippines. The building has a land area of 0.612 hectares and a floor area of more than 127,000 square meters. It is one of the favorite buildings for IT and telecommunications companies. It is home to IT companies like Microsoft Philippines, Unisys and Dell Philippines.


Project Description

Recognizing the significant amount of energy consumed with the operation of seven levels of carpark and common areas running 24 hours a day  7 days a week, the property managers of The Enterprise Center was looking for ways to reduce the buildings electricity bill. A pilot installation on three levels showed that with the installation of Light Eco energy saving device, The Enterprise Center would achieve considerable savings on electricity.

A total of 27 Light Eco units were installed. Measurements taken during the installation showed an average savings of over 25%. The annual electricity savings in peso terms is approximately P1,400,000.00.

Essensa East Forbes, Fort Bonifacio, Global City



Essensa East Forbes is considered to be one of the premier high-rise residential condominiums in Metro Manila. The graceful concave buildings resembling butterfly wings is a mastery of aesthetics with a generous layout of 236 luxury residential suites.

Essensas twin tower facilities include a business center, a fitness center, helipad, an indoor heated lap pool, and four levels of underground car park, private dining facilities and a poolside gazebo. All of which offer first class hotel service, which also include a 24hr concierge and elevator attendant. The condominium is managed by one of the Philippines largest property management company, Century Property Management, Inc.

Project Description

Recognizing the significant amount of energy consumed with the operation of four levels of underground parking running 24 hours a day  7 days a week, Essensas management was on the lookout for energy saving ideas that would help them reduce their electricity bill. An engineering survey showed that with the installation of Light Eco units on all four parking levels would provide significant savings on electricity consumption.

Six Light Eco units were installed. Measurements taken during the installation showed an average savings of over 26%. The annual electricity savings in peso terms is P212,654.00 or approximately P637,962.00 over the warranty period. Energy savings would be in the order of 43.4 MWHr.

Essilor Philippines (Optodev) LIIP, Mamplasan, Laguna



Essilor is a French global enterprise with 2.138 billion euros in sales and 23,000 employees operating in 100 countries. It is currently the world's leading corrective lens manufacturer. In the 80s, Essilor relocated two of their production of finished lenses to the Philippines and operated under the name of OPTODEV INC.

Essilor, with production facilities and distribution subsidiaries throughout the world, generates more than 80% of its business outside France, its home-base country.

Essilor has manufactured one of every two progressive lenses and one of every three organic lenses sold around the world.

Project Description

After the initial presentation of Light Eco to Essilor, their engineers decided to buy and install one unit to carry out tests that will insure the methods of installation conforms to their standards, that the illumination will comply with their health and safety requirements, that the unit will not affect their machines and equipment, and that the Light Eco will achieve the 25% savings.

Today, a total of twenty Light Eco units are installed throughout their plant in Laguna  production areas, offices, cafeteria, and warehouse. The installation is projected to save over P60,000.00 per month or an average energy savings of 11,800 KWhrs per year.

P&G has located its Regional Operating Headquarters in the Philippines at the PetronMega Plaza, Paseo de Roxas, Makati City.


Project Description

Occupying three floors and operating an average of 14 hours per day, P&G were looking at ways to reduce their electricity consumption. Through CB Richard Ellis, the Property Managers of P&G, Light Eco was assessed and compared with other energy saving devices in terms of reliability and payback period.

A total of twenty-three Light Eco units were installed. Meralco billings over three months from date of project completion showed an average savings of more than 25% or P37,200.00 per month. This equates to about P446,000.00 per year with an annual energy savings of 63,700 KWHr.

Ritz Tower Condominium, Ayala Avenue, Makati City



Ritz Tower Condominium is a twin tower edifice along Ayala Avenue, right in the heart of the premier commercial district of Makati City. With 27 levels of residential units and a penthouse on each tower, the condominium is known to provide residence to some of Manilas top businessmen and celebrities.

Its two levels of underground parking space, operating 24 hours a day - seven days per week, has an average annual energy consumption on lighting alone of 126.17 MWHr with a cost of P60,772.00 per month for a total cost of P729,274.00 per year. This condition is ideal for Light Eco products.

Project Desription

Aware of the savings that can be generated with the installation of energy saving Light Eco, Ritz Tower management realized they could embark on rationalizing and consolidating their electrical panels. These panels have warranted change due to electrical rewiring and addition of electrical equipment through the years. With the guaranteed savings, they are now able to have funds available to make the changes.

Four light panels and six Light Eco units were installed. Measurements taken during installation showed an average electricity bill savings of P253,601.00 per year. This calculated to an annual energy savings of 46.68 MWHr.

Windsor Tower, Legazpi Village, Makati City



Windsor Tower is a residential condominium building strategically located behind the prestigious Makati Medical Center. With seven levels of residential units and one level of retail establishments, Windsor is home to several of Makatis cosmopolitan crowd.

The building is managed by Building Management & Group Services, a proactive property management company that strives to deliver professional service, and minimize operating expense. The buildings electricity cost is regularly monitored to find ways to reduce the energy consumption.


Project Description

Two Light Eco units were installed. One unit at the lighting panel that supplies power to their car park area located at the basement. The other unit at the lighting panel serving the hallways and elevator lobbies located at the fifth floor.

A comparison was done between the average Meralco billing four months prior to the installation of Light Eco and four months after the installation. The results showed savings of over 9% in their total energy cost. The savings equates to over P260,000.00 per year based on an average cost of P5.20 per Kwhr and an annual energy savings of 50,400 Kwhr.

Speed Court Badminton Hall, Valle Verde 1, Pasig City



Speed Court Badminton Hall is located at the heart of an exclusive subdivision in Pasig City. It has two badminton courts, with fluorescent light bulbs and a conventional electrical system. Lighting accounts for a significant portion of their Meralco bill. Light Eco's offer of huge savings in energy costs for fluorescent lighting becomes an excellent investment.

Speed Court has a total of sixty-four 40watt fluorescent lights in the main courts, and a number of compact fluorescent lights servicing the spectator stand and pathways. The lights are switched "on" at an average of 8 hours per day.


Project Description

Two LE 3.8 Light Eco units were installed next to their main distribution panel.

A comparison was done between the average Meralco billing four months prior to the installation of Light Eco and two months after the installation. The results showed a drop in their electricity consumption. Their over-all electricity cost was reduced by over 22%.

With the anticipated increase in usage and running hours of the court, the 22% reduction in electricity consumption would translate to bigger monetary savings in their Meralco billings.
